Gary Bischof

Gary Bischof’s experience comes from a 30+ year career as an energy industry executive for public and privately held clients and firms. His capital project experience is enhanced by roles as an operating executive with responsibility for all aspects of commissioning, start-up and commercial operation of capital assets in the refining, power and LNG industry.

His accomplishments include: Leading the client team of an integrated Canadian oil and gas producer to identify LNG export projects and sites, negotiation of memoranda of understanding with project co-developers, negotiation of project development agreements, First Nations agreements and LNG tolling agreements, delivery of project schedules, capital budget estimates, project execution plans, U.S. regulatory and permitting submissions.

As President of Canaport LNG, a subsidiary of Irving Oil, Gary represented his firm on the executive committee of a $1.5 billion joint venture to build Canada’s first Liquefied Natural Gas import terminal. Gary and the JV committee were responsible for pre-FEED feasibility studies, front end engineering and design, EPC contracts, construction, commissioning and commercial operation. The plant was started up on time and on budget in 2009.

As Operating Officer and Executive Team Member of Irving Oil, Gary was responsible for management of Canada’s largest oil refinery and implemented a disciplined capital project execution process that successfully completed several hundred million dollars in capital projects. Gary provided executive leadership for the pre-FEED development of a new $10 billion refinery project.

Claude Church is a seasoned executive with an extensive operational background as President and CEO of mid-market branded product companies.

Mr. Church has broad experience in several areas of business including manufacturing, satellite communication, energy, international distribution, finance, and retail sectors. His experience has often been requested for situations requiring creative operational growth, reorganization, restructuring and refinancing.

Throughout his career, he has primarily been involved with international organizations which required leadership in strategic planning, new product innovation, improved consumer and trade marketing, and effective brand management.

Mr. Church also has extensive experience in specialty debt financing including project financing.
